Cross Setting A World Record Off My Life List #MIXIMLOVE

I can cross another thing off my bucket life list - setting a World Record!  The thought of breaking a record crossed my mind over the years but I'm not too wild, not at all athletic and honestly, just didn't know it was as easy as attending the launch party of Ehrmann USA's greek yogurt MIXIM!  The Queen Mary looking pretty in pink for Valentine's Day was a majestic sight to see. 

As we made our way to the front deck of The Love Boat, we were greeted with music and yogurt samples!

   

I grew up in Long Beach and I never got to experience seeing my hometown from the deck of The Queen Mary as the sun set - it was truly sublime.  And I'm sure for the couples, very romantic!

One of the more interesting things to happen that night was my conversation with Guinness World Records' adjudicator Michael Empric.  I'm convinced he has one of the coolest jobs in the World!

I really enjoyed the smooth and creamy texture of the yogurt, it wasn't tart and I loved controlling the portions of the toppings!  The absolute favorite for me is mango with pineapple and coconut & almonds!  The mango popped and woke up my taste and smell senses - it was so flavorful and didn't taste fake.  I am a huge fan!!!  I also sampled cherry and dark chocolate curls and

raspberry and dark + white chocolate curls - so so yummy!

We did it!!!  The world record was achieved and the company donated $20,000 to its charity partner, the Children's Heart Foundation.  YAY!

Chris came into my life at the perfect time.    It was during my "eat love pray" chapter of my life.  There is no doubt in my mind that he is my soulmate.  Number one and most important, he makes me laugh. What Bloggers Want For Valentine's Day

I was thinking about gifts I want for Valentine's Day when I realized that everything on my list was blog related.  Thats the life of a blogger!  This is the big list - I'd settle for a few things off the list.  No rush, its open for my Birthday and Christmas too!

• The funds to attend Alt with Ruby next year 
• Brand Ambassadorship 
• To learn Photoshop 
• 2 hours of kid-free time per day to work on bloggy thangs

I asked my blogger friends what blog related gifts they would love to receive on Valentine's Day --- the big winner:  Canon cameras!

Valentine's Day is our 3rd favorite Holiday.  I wasn't a fan till I met my husband.  Chris makes it special for me every year by bringing me beautiful roses and the best card.  Sometimes he makes the card and sometimes he buys it, all that matters to me are his words.  Our Valentine's Day is complete when we go out to lunch or dinner.  Last year was sweet because I was pregnant and Duke was in school so we enjoyed a precious hour of alone time.  But we're funny and rushed over to Duke's school after lunch to surprise him at his Valentine's party.  What can I say... we love our kids and Valentine's Day is a family tradition for us.
