Dreamin' of a Living Room Makeover with #WorldMarket_HGTV

Our current media center is horrible.  It's in great shape but I just don't like it anymore.  I need a media center that has storage space - as you can see, this one does not.  Everything is so exposed and ugly.     I'm embarrassed of this section of our living room.  My Mom would be horrified I'm even sharing it!  This is why we need a living room makeover!


Hubby and I are still in school and we have books and magazines everywhere.  I've been eyeing "kitchen buffets" for our new media center.  Yes, I said kitchen buffets - they are well constructed, have great storage space and are gorgeous!  I'm a huge fan!

1. Schylling Wind-Up Tin Robot Set - These robots would look so cute set off to the side of the tv!
2. Antique Black Verona Buffet - This would be my new media center.  Isn't it a beauty?  I have to have it!  
3. Vintage Puzzles, Set of 4 - I would place these on the opposite side of the robot set.  It would be a great conversation starter.
4. Antique Black Verona Bar - I need this to match my buffet, it would fit perfect next to my media center as extra storage.  
5. Antique Green Globe with Brass Stand - I have been looking for a globe and this one would be perfect on my storage center!
6. Owen Desk Cubby Natural - This would also go on my storage center, each of us would have a cubby.  I could see Hubby storing his wallet and keys in his cubby.  I would write notes to my boys and leave them in their cubbies.

Our home is full of interesting pieces from all over the World.  It makes for great History lessons with our children and conversation pieces with visiting friends.  I love shopping at World Market because they offer unique and trendy items.  I can spend a few hours in there just looking at stuff, I get lost in their aisles.  More recently I picked up a few food items to send to my foodie pen pal.  World Market carries everything!  Get lost online, I dare you!
