Halloween Fun At #CampSpooky

Duke went crazy when the invite came in for the Camp Spooky media preview event at Knott's Berry Farm.  I'll admit I was excited too.  We had an incredible time last year.  Halloween can be scary for a kid but Camp Spooky makes it cute and fun.  I know if we weren't invited, we would've treated the littles out for a day of fun at Knott's anyways!  What I love about Camp Spooky is that kids (& parents!) are encouraged to wear their costumes and get a head start on trick-or-treating.  It is absolutely adorable watching skeletons, ninjas and princesses get on rides and scream their cute faces off.  If Halloween is one of your favorite times of the year, this is the perfect way to kick off your Fall festivities!  For information on Camp Spooky, check out my detailed post here!

It's Time For Camp Spooky At Knott's Berry Farm Theme Park!

Disclosure:  We will be attending a media event for Camp Spooky.  All thoughts are our own.
It's almost October and that means it's time for Camp Spooky at Knott's Berry Farm!!!!!  If you know me, you'll know that Halloween is my favorite.  I love when that calendar hits October 1st cause it is time to celebrate for the whole month (and sometimes into November).  Last year was our first time at Camp Spooky and Spider-Man er, I mean Duke made us promise that we would bring him every year.  I am all for new traditions so we kinda said yes!  This year your super heroes, monsters, princesses and whatever they may be are invited to take part in Snoopy's Costume Contest and show off their costume as they join the PEANUTS characters in a spirited parade through Camp Spooky!

There will be five Trick-or-Treating locations in Camp Spooky, head over with your goodie bag to the Camp Spooky Theatre where you can sing and dance with Charlie Brown's Spooktacular Show!   Ohhh and that's not all, do not miss the Creepy Crawly Critter Cave, explore the Monster Factory maze, listen to Scary Stories at the Lodge and wind down with Kooky Cookie Painting!

The absolutely best part of all this is it is all included with theme park admission!  Camp Spooky runs weekends October 5-27!  Knott's Berry Farm Theme Park operating hours are 10am-5:30pm.  For more information on all the exciting things that are going on at Knott's Berry Farm, call (714) 220-5200 or visit online at www.knotts.com

What fun do you have in store for your kids this Halloween?  What will they be?!

Some cute pictures of our Spider-Man from last year!  Not sure what the littles will be dressed up as this year!  See you soon Snoopy!

Knott's Berry Farm Timber Mountain Log Ride Opens May 30th

I know the Knott's Berry Farm Boardwalk announcement was exciting but even more exciting is news about my favorite ride at Knott's Berry Farm!!!  The Calico Log Ride!  It has and always will be my favorite.  There is just nothing like it.  It is a true classic.  The Calico Log Ride opened on July 11, 1969 with screen legend John Wayne.  This year the newly renovated ride will open with a new name Timber Mountain Log Ride and upgrades.  Garner Holt Productions of San Bernardino is working with the Knott's team to upgrade all the ride figures and sets as well as add new scenes and characters to enhance the ride experience while still maintaining the original theming and storyline of the attraction.

I'll be honest.  Ever since I became a parent, I don't really do "scary" rides anymore.  I've discussed this with other parents and they feel the same.  That being said, I am so excited to ride the log ride!
Congratulations Knott's Berry Farm!

Knott's Boardwalk Opens Memorial Day Weekend

I live in Buena Park so we're always driving by Knott's Berry Farm.  Even after all these years I still get excited to see the Knott's skyline.  Last year I noticed that Perilous Plunge was closed and wondered what would be coming in!  Turns out Knott's was super busy revitalizing the Boardwalk!  The area will further enhance the feeling of strolling down a colorful California Boardwalk fun zone filled with amusement rides, games, and fun food offerings.  Opening on May 25th for Memorial Day weekend are THREE new rides!  The new Coast Rider will have everyone clinging to the handrails as they ascend 52 feet for a harrowing journey down a 1,339 foot track filled with hairpin turns, twists and spins.  The Surfside Gliders let guests take the ride into their own hands as they pilot their two-man aircraft for a bird's eye view of the entire Boardwalk area.  Rounding out the trio of attractions is the Pacific Scrambler where everyone gets caught in the spin.  AND Knott's Boardwalk will be optimized for an exciting nighttime experience!

My family is so excited to visit Knott's Berry Farm this Summer!
Congratulations Knott's!
