The Jungle Book With Mi Familia #LoMasVital

One of our favorite family activities is watching movies, especially when we're at home.  My chulos actually sit down and we get to enjoy quality time with them.  I happily participated in a fun photo-a-day challenge that highlights how we're enjoying life and it led to finally watching The Jungle Book Diamond Edition, which is now available for the first time on Blue Ray™ and Digital.  The Jungle Book is a new one to us, I vaguely remember watching it as a kid but the Bare Necessities song always stood out to me... not only is it catchy but relates to life!  A topic we always talk about is the importance of our familia!  We're currently plotting our next fun adventure - to visit our families in Texas this Summer and the movie set everything in motion.  

Omie loves movies he can dance to!  Duke couldn't believe Disney made movies "way back then".  I don't know anyone that can hold back when The Jungle Book is on - we were a singing and dancing party over here!  The conversation was also deep with a question like, "why is that kid living with animals?" and celebrated with the realization that animals do care for humans.  I explained that it's a two way street and we have to take care of each other.  I guarantee we'll watch this movie again and again!        

The Jungle Book inspired me to create a fun trail mix for everyone.  It will be perfect for our travels or hanging out at home when you crave something different!  All you need are apple chips, banana chips and chocolate chips!

Put all the chips in a cup or bag and you are good to go!

FROZEN Inspired Gift Packaging #FrozenFun

I have a problem, I'm always shopping for girls.  And the problem with that is that I have all boys!!!  I can't help it, girls have thee cutest clothes and toys.  My husband Chris always teases me that we'll be blessed with granddaughters.  One can only wish!  I was super excited for the holidays because of FROZEN the movie!  This Disney fan was all over the cute snowman and what's better than one strong female character but two that happen to be sisters!  Way to go Disney!  I just knew the toys would be awesome - I wanted an Olaf toy, Elsa toy, Anna toy... but not for myself, for one of my nieces!  I rarely get to spoil all of them because they live in Texas but Mila is the sweetest... when her mom Letty calls us, Mila sings to us and all of our hearts melt from the cuteness!  Letty was a teen mom and has done an incredible job raising Mila by herself, we are so proud of her!

Our "quick" shopping trip didn't just start and end in the toys department, we had to stop and look at everything.  It's a good thing we did, there were FROZEN toys everywhere and I might have missed something!  After deciding on four dolls, I was inspired to use practical "gift wrap" inspired by the movie - I found a scarf and gloves to go with the whole theme.  I think she's gonna be the cutest!  After driving my husband and the littles crazy, I decided to treat them for lunch at the Subway inside Walmart and Duke was ecstatic because he got in on the FROZEN fun too!

Disney Fairytale Dolls Designer Collection #D23Expo

One of the new product releases that took my breath away at D23 Expo is the Disney Fairytale Designer Collection.  These dolls are detailed and just stunning.  Get your wallets out, the first set hits stores tomorrow, August 20th.

The Disney Fairytale Designer Limited Edition Doll Sets include Snow White and the Prince; Rapunzel and Flynn Rider; Jasmine and Aladdin; Belle and the Beast; and Ariel and Eric, all brought to life with careful attention. Featuring stunning details, such as satin gowns with subtle ornate prints, embroidered bodices, golden buttons and rhinestone accents, each set is presented in a special keepsake display case with intricate details on the base, including a golden plate with the name of the specific Disney Princess and her partner. Each doll measures 11.5”.

Limited to an edition of 6,000 of each of the five couples globally, each Doll Set retails for $129.95 US/$139.95 CAN and £100/€120 UK/EURO, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

To Infinity And Beyond: Disney Interactive #D23Expo

One of the highlights of my D23 Expo weekend was the Disney Interactive presentation.  Presented by Disney Interactive Co-Presidents Jimmy Pitaro and John Pleasants - we got an exciting demo of Fantasia: Music Evolved, live performance by the Disney Chamber Ensemble, world premiere of Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story, in-depth preview of Disney Animated app, sneak peek at It's A Small World Animated Series and finally Disney Infinity!

Blank is super super cute.  I may have even got teary eyed watching the extended teaser. There are 12 episodes and will be debuting this Fall.
Duke, my 7 year old gamer, has been so excited for Disney Infinity - I thought we would hold out till Christmas to buy the starter set but after seeing the preview, I will be up early on Sunday to get it because it looks AMAZING. I was especially excited to hear that the Toy Story play set will be released in October.

I enjoyed playing an "outsider" in the Disney Kingdom at D23 Expo.  Capturing Disney cosplayers in their true element showing off their fashion and style.  Here are my favorite paparazzi shots.

I saw "DisneyBounding" last Halloween season while at Mickey's Halloween Party.  It is one of the best things to happen to Disney fashion.  Was stoked to see Woody!
