Loving:  The past week.  Our awesome friend Ariana from Houston was in town and we had so much fun.  And then our nephew got here from San Antonio on Thursday and we get to have him till tomorrow.  We have a tiny place but when it's full of our family, it's so fun and special.  I really love seeing our sons with their cousin.  So precious.  Everyone we love is so far away.  Damn you Texas!

Thinking About:  Too many things.  My mind is on go.  Deadlines.  Thrifting.  Antique Flea Markets.  Estate Sales.

Anticipating:  One of my current projects - an unconference.  I am so excited about it and just waiting on my first choice for a venue to sign on.  Then I have to work on sponsors...

Listening To:  To the fan in our room, the tv in the living room and my Husband talking with me...

Eating:  Out of town guests have to have In N Out so this week I've had the luxury of having it three times this week.  I'm not complaining, it's just that this is the most I've ever had it in seven days.  I am far from being sick of it too.  Yum!

Wishing:  Money grew on trees.

Loving:  Our newborn Omar.  He'll be 3 weeks old on Saturday.  I can't believe it's already been that long.  He likes being up between 3-4am and that's my sleepiest time so I struggle hard trying to be up with him.  He's starting to stay awake a little longer in the day and we've been enjoying him.  I want to savor these moments with our little one.  It's so adorable how his older brothers adore him.

Thinking About:  A couple things...
Girls time on Friday!  My girls Stephanae & Noemy mentioned coming over and I'm excited cause we need to catch up on each other's lives.
Last year around this same time, we were in Atlanta and then would be on our way to Alabama for my cousin's Wedding.  It was an amazing trip filled with family.

Anticipating:  The end of my Spring Semester!  I took on 5 classes while pregnant and with a newborn - I feel insane but I did it!  I have one project and one exam to do and I can finally enjoy my Summer!  I won tickets to Pretend City and can't wait to visit with the littles!

Listening To:  Ghostface Killah - Forever.  Happy Born Day GFK!

Eating:  We had McDonald's for dinner.  I have no guilt, it was good and I was tired from cooking all week.  Tried the new Cherry Berry Chiller and that was yummy.  Better than McD's smoothies and Frozen Strawberry Lemonade.

Wishing:  My family was still visiting in June.  Chris and I have made every effort to visit our out of state families for the past few years and I just wish my family was still coming out to visit us - I miss my folks so much and it's been tough on me.

Loving:  My life.  I finally feel I'm where I need to be.  I can't explain it in this post so I'll save it for another one.

Thinking About: Shopping! When I was a teenager I used to hit thrift stores and yard sales like crazy. I didn't get back into it till last year and it's been so good to us. Still haven't made it out to the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena and it makes me sad. I can't stop thinking about the stuff I might find.  It is addicting.

Anticipating: Still anticipating the birth of our baby. I will be induced tomorrow at 9am.  I was induced with my oldest two.  I had a checkup on Ty's due date and the Dr. said I was leaking amniotic fluid for a couple days.  I wasn't having contractions so we needed to get him out.  I got the pitocin drip and it was a long process, I wasn't a fan.  With Dame, he was 10 days overdue and again, I had to be induced.  Because the Dr. waited so long to induce him, they kept him for 5 days for observation, I was devastated that I couldn't go home with my baby.  Again, I wasn't a fan.  Now Duke, I went into labor on his due date.  I don't know how I did it but I made spaghetti for dinner that night, was feeling fine and then my contractions came on strong.  I still took the time to take a shower and then we rushed to the Hospital.  I think I was only in labor for 6 hours, Duke wanted out!  I kept hoping this little would change his mind but it's looking like his date with destiny is set tomorrow.  I can't wait.  We are all so excited!

Sidenote* This will be the first time I've ever been away from Duke and for at least 2 days!

Listening To:  The hum of the air conditioner in the living room, the rattle of blinds in our room and Curious George on TV.

Eating: My husband and I had, what probably is going to be our last dates for awhile, lunch out yesterday and today.  Yesterday he wanted Sam Woo and today I wanted Tacos San Pedro. I don't know if it's because I am pregnant but the food at both places were exceptionally good.  Nothing worse than feeding a very anxious pregnant woman some awful food!

We order a la carte at Sam Woo - Yesterday was Chicken Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Pork and Beef and Broccoli.
Lunch!
At Tacos San Pedro, I got a Carne Asada Plate.
Lunch

Wishing: BlogHer was in San Diego this year instead of New York.  I love New York but the expenses and dates away from my newborn are just impossible.  I really love connecting with fellow bloggers and hoped that I would get to meet more this year.  Last year I barely got my feet wet and this year I feel like I'm really ready to take it on.

Currently.

Years ago on LiveJournal, I used to participate regularly in something similar to "Currently" called "Daily Dose" - I was going to bring Daily Dose to this blog but saw Danielle's post about Currently, which seems more like my style these days.  Can't decide if I'm going to commit to doing this weekly or on a whim!

Loving:  When my husband paints.  He's working on a painting of our son and his favorite toys for a Painting class.  The concept is so adorable and I love watching this painting come together.  My husband & I usually bounce ideas off each other and it really means so much when he uses something I suggested.

Thinking About:  The final design of this blog.  Who knew commissioning someone to design my blog would be so much work - the thought process has been insane!  But I'm actually happy with the way it's coming along and can't wait till it's done and I can finally show it off!

Anticipating:  The birth of our baby!  He's due on April 14th and I can't wait to hold him, smell him, kiss him... I'm getting so excited!

Listening To:  J. Cole / Missy Elliott - Nobody's Perfect I've really taken a liking to J. Cole - This is probably the newest music I've got into in a while, it's depressing what my kids have to listen to these days.

Eating:  I made spaghetti with a side of peas for dinner.  This became a favorite of mine when I was in High School.  I got about $20 a week allowance when I was a teenager (which was a lot in the 90s), most of my friends got nothing.  I can remember pooling all our money, buying groceries and cooking dinner at different friends' houses - Spaghetti & peas was cheap, could feed a bunch of us and yummy.

Wishing:  I could make up my mind on what I want to buy.  On the fence about getting a new DSLR body, film camera or a few lenses.  My husband gave me the heads up to buy "whatever I wanted" a couple months ago and I still can't make up my mind.  Funny cause he's the Gemini!  Not that I haven't been looking... I have carts of stuff on etsy and Amazon and watch lists on eBay.  Maybe subconsciously waiting for Mercury Retrograde to pass... Hurry up April 3rd!
