September Is No Kids Hungry Month #DennysNKH

Disclosure: We partnered with Denny's.  All thoughts are my own.

When I got home last week from Family Forward, I didn't want to do anything except veg out on my couch.  And guess what?  I did and didn't feel guilty about it either.  Not one wasted ounce of guilt.  Since I wasn't up for cooking, we voted for Denny's!  It was the diner to go to after work with friends, when I had early morning prenatal appointments, for lunch when I was in college...  Good, good memories!  Sometimes you need a restaurant to be an old friend, reliable and always there.

When we got to Denny's, we found out that September is No Kid Hungry Month.  Childhood hunger is a big deal to us, no child should ever be without food.  If you donate $3 from now till October 31st at any of the 1200 participating Denny's to the Share Our Strength's "No Kid Hungry" program you will receive up to a $9 value on Denny's diner favorites.  Additionally, for every "Build Your Own Omelette" purchased from September 9 through September 15, America's Egg Farmers will donate one egg on behalf of Denny's guests to a "No Kid Hungry" partner to help alleviate childhood hunger in America.  So, don't cook tonight or tomorrow and dine out!

My boy is missing teeth and when he saw the kid in his menu missing his teeth too, he thought it was funny!

I don't get to Denny's very often, but that salad looks to-die-for! And the shake is making me hungry right now....That's great what they are doing for No Kid Hungry too.

Love Denny's. It's our go to place when we are out. Glad to hear that they are promoting a good cause. That pot roast looks amazing. I need to try it next time. :)
