I am an ideal balance of Softness & Strength #AngelSoft

Working at Honda Center, home of Anaheim Ducks hockey team (and not a car dealership) is always exciting, crazy, fun and stressful. I have been with my employer faithfully since 1995 and with each pregnancy, I stayed till I was just about to deliver.  The minute my Dr. would sign my release, I was back at work.  I love working and have worked since I was 14 years old.  During my second trimester last year, after a couple months of drama with a new manager - I made one of the hardest career decisions of my life - to go on early maternity leave.  I was suffering from morning sickness and the added stress at work was making me miserable.  This was my last pregnancy and I wanted to enjoy it.  It was challenging to stay strong in the first few weeks.  It was rough.  I wanted to be at work, enjoying our regular season ticket holders, seeing my family of coworkers, watching hockey or a concert and just having a routine.  My mentality has always been that there is stability in working and I genuinely like to provide financially for my family.

In my last month of pregnancy, when I was supposed to be on my actual maternity leave... I finally began to get comfortable in my decision.  I made peace and that mentality immediately made me feel 2x stronger.  I didn't let the evil manager win - I chose my destiny.  To be healthy and rested for the birth of my child.  Angel Soft is an ideal balance of softness and strength, pretty much like me!  Now stronger than ever to hold up better at the value you love!

Things always have a funny way of working out. I know that sometimes stressful problems can truly be blessings without us knowing it. Glad to hear that the last months of your pregnancy were stress free!

Going through my early adult years as a single mother helped me appreciate motherhood this time around with my husband. It definitely made me twice as strong and I can appreciate the blessing of it now. <3
