Mercury Retrograde ends in 4 days. And thank goodness. It's been rough. My littles have been wild. I experienced issues with my debit card that ended up resolving itself but not after everyone in line behind me huffed and puffed. Yesterday, I tore up my living room looking for my checkbook and it was right where I thought it was and the first place I looked. My saving grace is this magical box of macarons from Sucre in New Orleans. The email came in offering me and one lucky reader a 15 piece box from their signature collection and I couldn't say YES fast enough. I'll make a confession: I love macarons but I've always just enjoyed them at events (bloggers love macarons). I am fortunate that I live in an area where I can go to a store to buy macarons but truth be told, the shops that sell macarons are a bit intimidating to me, always packed and super pricey. So buying online is perfect for someone like me. I was worried they wouldn't maintain freshness and break during shipping but they were absolutely perfect. The taste was perfection and magic. Magically perfect. I want to send everyone I love a box for Christmas!
Sucre doesn't only offer macarons though! Their sweet boutique is quite dangerous for my wallet and waist. Sucre is full of sweets for the holidays (hello peppermint macaron!), chocolates, eclairs, handmade marshmallows and king cake!
Cute on the outside!
I could honestly go for all these flavors. How can you say no!
Some people would've styled this picture but I wanted to show how they survived shipping - not bad at all!
The tower of power! (Psst... feel free to send me more)
The strawberry macaron was mesmerizing. Almost tempted not to eat it because it looks so cute! (But I did, no macaron is safe)
