Del Monte Fruit Cups Aren't Only For Kids! #SmartSnack

Del Monte Diced Peaches in light syrup are a staple in our home, especially when my husband wants to bring lunch to work.  When I was pregnant, fruit cups lived in my purse.  Not only are they shelf-stable and great for earthquake kits but they were great for when I would get a sudden craving.  So easy to eat, I never needed a spoon!  We're huge fans of fruit cups so when I heard about the new, healthier Del Monte Fruit Cups that are only 60 calories per serving, gluten free and does not include high fructose corn syrup, I had to find out more.  Finding out more meant buying them and sharing the good word with all of you!

My go-to store to find new items is Walmart.  We go at least twice a week to shop so I was hoping to find Del Monte Diced Apples & Pears with Caramel flavor and Diced Pears with Vanilla & Spice on one of my routine trips.  I never noticed how many fruit cup brands and varieties were available till this past week.  WOW!  Take a look at all the fun, new stuff I saw at Walmart in my Google+ album!

There they are!  And only $2.28!

Who wants to admit that they eat fruit cups like this?  I do!

Del Monte Diced Apples & Pears with Caramel flavor
Hubby:  I like the combo of apples and pears, the caramel flavor adds another dimension to the fruit.  The caramel isn't overpowering.  It's light.  It makes a good midnight snack when you need something sweet but not too sweet.
Xenia:  I agree with everything Hubby said!

Del Monte Diced Pears with Vanilla & Spice
Xenia:  The spice is actually cinnamon!  I like the smell of this and it's tasty.  I think this is great for adults that have a complex about eating fruit cups because it's assumed they are for "kids".  This is a great snack for all ages!
Hubby:  The cinnamon flavor is my favorite.  Peaches are my favorite and now I want to try Diced Peaches with Cinnamon & Brown Sugar!

Super cute post, Xenia! Loved the pic of Hubby sipping the juice. So funny! I really loved the vanilla and spices... these cups are definitely not just for the kiddos!
